Evansville Otters first exhibition game on May 6th to benefit Jacob’s Village.

As part of this year’s benefit, Jacob’s Village and the Otters are proud to once again host an exciting “Diamond Dash”, a promotion sponsored by Tracy Zeller Jewelry in honor of Mother’s Day.  The Diamond Dash will give every woman over the age of 18 a chance to go onto the field following the 7th inning to “dash” for a $1,000 Tracy Zeller Jewelry Shopping Spree.  For the men attending, the partnership is also introducing a Men’s Yeti Cooler Dash this year. The Yeti Cooler Dash will give every man over the age of 18 a chance to go onto the field following the 7th inning to “dash” for a $400 Yeti Cooler.  The benefit game, now in its 11th year, represents a long-standing partnership between Jacob’s Village and the Otters.  The game has been a great way for the community to come out and support people with disabilities.

Tickets for this year’s game may be purchased at all G.D. Ritzy’s locations, Bosse Field, and Jacob’s Village.

The mission of Jacob’s Village is to develop a safe, walkable neighborhood community where people with disabilities and older adults can find meaningful relationships, housing that is affordable and accessible, and activities that encourage active minds and bodies.  For more information, visit their website at www.jacobsvillage.org.

The Otters open the 2016 season at home against the Schaumburg Boomers on Friday, May 13, at 6:35 p.m. Tickets are on sale now by calling (812) 435-8686.
