Former Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel collected no contributions other than from the Weinzapfel for Mayor campaign that provided over $505,000 to the start-up political action committee.
During the filing period only four candidates for office received any financial contributions from the Weinzapfel for Indiana PAC. The four were Democrat candidates Donnelly and Crooks for Congress, White for State Senate, and Steve Melcher for County Commissioner. The total contributions reported by the PAC were $1,350.00 while operating expenses were only $168.38.

This guy is a joke! Just look at the debts he left us taxpayer with when he left office. Also all the failed capital projects he pass onto the new Mayor to work through.
Half million dollars in his political fund he can use anyway he deems is just wrong. Even more interesting is that Rose Young is the Treasurer of this political slush fund. I once was extremely fond of her but not now.

Oh yes! She is still working for the guy and Winnecke gives here free rein with the city data.
If the situation was reversed, do you think for a minute that a republican party operative, who was the treasurer of a half million dollar republican PAC would be put on the democratic mayor’s staff and given all access to city files.
So what else do you need to know about Winnecke? Small wonder the local democrat party got out the vote for him.
This stuff would be hilarious if it was not for the poor working-class taxpayers these leeches are sucking the life out of.

Winnecke is a damn fool. As Ron White says “you can’t fix stupid”. No one can get any sense into this guys head.
Just read Weinzapfel Financial Report and was amazed to learn that he didn’t use one penny of this fund to help the poor and disadvantaged citizens of this community. What a selfish human being. It’s obvious that he has little character and compassion within his being. Bottom line, he is a lost and self serving soul!
At this rate, his Weinzapfel for Indiana PAC will run out in 374 years (if it is not accruing interest).
I heard the PAC took a large position in Earthcare preferred shares. That should keep it above water for years to come.
