We will be showing 120 films from 30 countries during this event. The “Opening Night Celebration” is scheduled on the evening of the September 12th at the Victory Theatre from 6 pm to 9:30 pm with an after-party to follow.
The screenings will begin at noon on Friday, September 13th and we will have a multiple of venues locationss throughout downtown Evansville.  The venues are; Central Library, Innovation Pointe, Encounter Church, and Old National Public Theatre at WNIN.
Screenings on Saturday the 14th will go from 10 am to 6 pm and ending with an Awards Ceremony at Encounter Church at 7 pm and will have an after-party event to follow.
The organizers will also have panels and presentations on acting, producing, marketing, scoring, working with film commissions, and also a presentation by an employee of SAG-AFTRA.
As of today, this event will have over 38 filmmakers with selections in competition at the festival, many of them coming from out of state including many from the East and West coasts. Â Also, movies to be shown crosses all genres being features and shorts from that are documentaries, comedies, dramas, sci-fi, student, horror, animation – you name it, we’ve got it.
Matthew Ulm, Festival Director said, “Many of our selections have screened at Sundance, Vancouver International Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, and Cannes.”
