VHS Pet of the Week: “Doc”

6

Greetings from Doc, a 7-month-old neutered DSH. He is a happy boy who is ready to give lots of love to his new family. Doc loves the company of both cats and dogs. In his spare time he can be found chasing bugs or running in and out of paper sacks. Doc will do well in a home with children, especially if they have a laser light he can chase or if they will throw a ball he can fetch. Doc also loves to stare out of windows, he always has to know what’s going on outside. This great cat is going to make a wonderful addition to just about any home! For more information on how to make Doc a member of your family, please call 812-426-2563 or visit www.vhslifesaver.org for more information.

  1. What’s up Doc ? You are a beauty, and hopefully some smart person snatches you up quickly !

    • As long as this beauty cat doesn’t get snatched up by a smart person in OUR house, I fully support this.

  2. Kudos to CCO for having the pet of the week. The only way these poor animals make the news is when someone abuses them. If you think they have no voice, adopt one and see how he talks to you. We have two rescue dogs and they brighten my day when I come home to wagging tails and happy licks. Thanks CCO!

    • Marsha,

On behalf of cat lovers everywhere, I call on the County Commissioners to adopt Doc and allow him to attend all meetings. Doc will break the tedium, and having a cat to pet helps to relieve stress right before that important vote ! Come on Marsha, Doc will look great on TV. The public will love it ! Do the right thing and give this handsome kitty a home !

      • Marsha has a big softy heart unknown to those who don’t really know her. The CCO does a great service with these spotlights. We currently have a 1 of a kind dog (#3) from the VHS and have had several cats over the years from the VHS. Try walking in there and taking an animal in the visiting/play room. Don’t care what your politics are, this is a great organization that all of us should support.
