USI to hold two Commencement Ceremonies Today to honor the Fall Class of 2023

WHO: The University of Southern Indiana will recognize 681 eligible graduates at Fall Commencement Ceremonies.

Dr. Jill Raisor ’03, Professor of Education and 2023 Distinguished Professor Award recipient, will present the Commencement Address at 10 a.m. Ceremony, and Dr. Mark Krahling, Associate Professor of Chemistry and the 2023 H. Lee Cooper Core Curriculum Teaching Award recipient, will deliver the Commencement Address at the 1 p.m. Ceremony. Marjorie O. Labhart will receive an honorary Doctor of Science degree at 10 a.m. Ceremony, and Timothy B. Mahoney will receive an honorary Doctor of Business degree at the 1 p.m. Ceremony.

WHAT: USI will hold two Commencement Ceremonies to recognize students from the Fall Class of 2023 and two honorary degree recipients.

WHEN: Ceremonies will take place tomorrow, Saturday, December 16. Graduates are asked to arrive one hour prior to their respective Ceremony (student interviews can be conducted at this time). Below is the full schedule:

  • 10 a.m.: College of Nursing and Health Professions; Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education; and School of Graduate Studies
  • 1 p.m. College of Liberal Arts; Romain College of Business; School of Graduate Studies

WHERE: Ceremonies will be held in the Screaming Eagles Arena. A map of the USI campus, featuring the Screaming Eagles Arena, can be found at USI.edu/map.

    We love our Colleges and Universities. America has the world’s best educated population in the world.
