The University of Southern Indiana International Club and Center for International Programs will host its annual International Food Expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, February 17 in Carter Hall, located in University Center West on campus.

The International Food Expo is an opportunity for USI’s international students to share the cultural diversity, customs and cuisine of their home country with the USI community and the public. In addition to main dishes and desserts from around the world, entertainment will include dances, musical performances and a fashion show of traditional, cultural attire.

“We are excited to see this event grow back to what it was before COVID. We love seeing the International Club board, members and other volunteers engage in the preparation leading to this event,” says Emilija Zlatkovska, Executive Director for International Programs. “The enthusiasm is contagious. We will have countries we have never had before and will have many performances. For the first time, we will also have some tables that will do cultural presentations, only, and we are excited to share the different cultures with the USI and local communities.”

Tickets are $15 for non-USI students and $10 for USI students and can be purchased on the Food Expo website. Tickets can also be purchased with cash or Munch Money at the Sweets Spot Bakery or the Eagle Access Card Office, both located in University Center West. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event.
