USI Basketball to host an “Evening with the Eagles” open summer practice

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women’s and Men’s Basketball will host “Evening with the Eagles” open summer practice on Wednesday, July 17 at 5 p.m. inside Screaming Eagles Arena.

The event is open to the public, who can watch the Screaming Eagles run through their everyday drills and a 10-minute scrimmage by both teams. After the open practice, the two squads will be available for autographs and pictures.

Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Jon Mark Hall will speak alongside men’s head coach Stan Gouard and women’s head coach Rick Stein about the upcoming year. Plus, hear from a few of the players.

Attendees will have the opportunity to acquire information or purchase season tickets for the 2024-25 USI Basketball season and take a tour of USI Basketball facilities and locker rooms. There will also be an informational session about NIL.
