EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Athletics announced that seniors Meredith Raley (Women’s Basketball) and Brady Terry (Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field) have been named the Old National Bank/USI Student Athletes of the Year.
Raley capped off her career by earning first-team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors for the second consecutive year. She averaged a career-high 14.4 points and 5.3 rebounds per game while shooting an OVC-best 53 percent (193-364) from the floor.
The Haubstadt, Indiana, native earned OVC All-Tournament honors for the second straight season and finished her career ranked No. 1 all-time at USI in games played (140), No. 3 in scoring (1,701) and No. 8 in rebounds (687).
Raley also finished her career ranked No. 4 all-time at USI in field goals made (608) and free throws made (380) and tied for No. 9 in blocks (69).
Terry finished his cross country career by earning OVC Runner of the Year honors and winning the OVC Cross Country championship. His first-place performance lifted the Screaming Eagles to their first OVC title and earned Brady OVC Runner of the Championship accolades.
A native of Philpot, Kentucky, Terry was named OVC Runner of the Week three times during the fall before going on to finish third in the 1,500 meters at the OVC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Terry finished his career ranked No. 7 all-time at USI in the 8k and No. 10 in the outdoor 1,500 meters.
