UE Wraps Up MAC Swimming Championship

The University of Evansville men’s swimming and diving team wraps up the season with the final day of the Mid-American Conference championship.

Riccardo Domenico (45.93) and Oskar Menkhaus (46.52) both earned spots in the 100-yard freestyle b-final, earning 11th and 14threspectively.

Brandt Hudson took an a-final spot with a 1:50.02 200-yard backstroke time, finishing in seventh, while Credence Pattinson (1:50.91) and David Killian (1:53.14) also posted times in the event finals.

Max Dehen (2:06.25), Eli James (2:06.64) and Pierce Lively (2:09.80) finished 13th through 15th in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Zeke Metz earned eighth place in the 200-yard butterfly at 1:51.45, while Paul Cozzens (1:510.87) and Zack Sagan (1:54.77) competed in the b-final in the event.

Ee E Tan took 15th place in the 200-yard butterfly at 1:56.52, while Griffin Hammett took 16th at 1:56.81.

The Aces ended the day with the 400-yard freestyle relay, finishing in forth in 3:01.28.

As a team UE finished in fifth place with 346 combined points in the MAC Championship.
