  1. TRUMP is will smash the invincibility barrier after today’s Tuesday Election Primaries.
TRUMP will win 5 more States: Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Rhode Island.
The votes for Ted Cruz in Indiana coming May 8th?
Symbolic votes cast as hope for another day.
Weren’t those days supposed to end after Obama?

    • Yep, both are very successful men who think for themselves and could not care less about political correctness.

  2. Never missed an episode of Celebrity Apprentice. My favorite was when Joan Rivers won. She and The Donald compared notes on hair care. His latest entertainment adventure is highlighted by his habit of waving his tiny white hands in front of his big orange face as he spews verbal nonsense. But you have to respect the fact that he is an equal opportunity offender. Eventually, he will join the ranks of Ross Perot, Jesse Ventura, Ron Paul, Ralph Nader and that guy who shouted, “Rent too damn high!” Just another brick in the wall.

  3. Is there a price list associated with the attractive ideas proposed for downtown Evansville in the recently published plan? It is easy to like the renderings but it is also easy to like everything sitting on the lot down at the Rolls Royce- Bentley dealership too.

The twin piers look especially good, but other than a Joe’s Crab Shack at the end of them I don’t see what purpose they will serve. Piers incidentally are very expensive to build and maintain. Just my thoughts for the morning.

It is true it will be interesting to see whether Bill Clinton or Donald Trump will draw the largest crowd. I met with Bill earlier this year and the public part of his visit drew a couple of hundred people. He is well liked here. Trump however is not the most popular guy in Palm Springs since he said our windmill farm is ugly.

    • Joe

Sadly, the newest downtown plan will join the ranks of previous master plans.

I’ll be the first to applaud the plans. They are wonderful, and if even a minor percentage were implemented, they would be transformative for Evansville and the downtown area.

However, as usual, the plans are drawn up by engineers and architects who have almost zero knowledge of the cost that would be needed.

  4. Walt Lowe has a Ryan Hatfield sign paired with a Trump sign outside his office. Interesting.

    • That figures. Most slum landlords wish they were Trump, but Lowe needs to be a democrat hack. He’ll probably vote in the repub primary and let Hatfield look out for himself.

      • I was going to say I can think of at least a couple things Lowe and Trump have in common. None of them are good traits.

  5. It seems that Santa Lloyd Winnie has challenges when selecting the winning horse. Remember Marsha Abell, and of course the then county councilman who replaced the Master Book Juggler a/k/a Russ Lloyd’s spot when he became the controller or in his case the the out-of-controller. Both lost miserably. So, if anybody thinks about running for office and receives the blessings from Sir Lloyd Winnie. BEWARE

    • Dear Mr. Arnold,

You mean Pete Swain and of course you forgot about Jack Scheiber, his friend and mentor in High School and College . .the true Friend of Winnecke.

      • Hey, you forgot about soon to be loser dead-beat Alex Schmitt for County Commissioner. Wonder if the days and nights with Christmas Carol (a/k/a McClintoch) to get their puppet head a/k/a Messy Nosby election. Remember landslide Mosby wins by literally by a nose. (12 votes).

        • Sunshine’s post-mortems of the council meetings are cringeworthy. They underscore how important those 12 votes down in the 2nd were as well as the fact that by letting her go on camera her handlers have no shame.

          • Yep, Missy owes her “power” to a dozen ill-informed voters and Wayne Parke. If you asked her, I’ll bet she thinks she defends the Constitution. I hope the 7th
circuit lets people sue her personally, like they did to Bolin in the Milan case.

          • Imagine some Fortune 500 outfit coming to visit us in the hopes of relocating hundred’s of jobs right here in River City and they meet up with the likes of Mosby. Well, you know the outcome. She definitely gives blondes a bad name.

          • Mosby’s comments of “let’s get along” is code for “as long as I run the show we will get along” She’s pathetic!!!!!

  6. Just a few words on the commissioner race. James Angermeier, Ray Hamner and David Mosby.

  7. I see the City Council unanimously passed the revised Good Neighbor Ordinance last night. It’s ironic that CAJE had their rally for fair housing at the same time at the ONB Events Plaza. My guess is that the City is in for some suits that will make the settlement in the Milan case look like loose change.

  8. It’s also ironic that two Realtors on the council work for a company that manages rental property.

  9. Highlight of the meeting was when Princess Mostly Messy threatened to cut off all public comment at council meetings. Her theory is that they pre-arrange all 9-0 votes ahead of time, so the public can just keep their yaps shut during the meetings.

    • I wonder if she never read the Bill of Rights, or if the words were too big for her to comprehend.

      • Just remember that the Indiana Open Door Law has no provisions that require that public commentary be allowed. IMHO this is a travesty, but that is the current law. The only thing that is mandatory in Indiana is that all government meetings be open to the public. The ability to speak is at the discretion of the elected body, but most specifically the Chair

  10. I hear Slick Willy is in town for Hillary. Faulkner couldn’t put together a rally so their just taking him around to Penny Lane and the union halls. Losing candidate Tony Goben is the tour leader and Missy and Weaver are running around with them. We’ve got two of the biggest demo woman chasers in history in the same place today.

    • “We’ve got two of the biggest demo woman chasers in history in the same place today.” Good one Pork Chop!
      ……………………………..
Penny Lane? Everyone knows that is a hippie hangout for Occupy Wall Street types and Bernie supporters. When does Faulkner get serious take Slick Willie to Scores or the Hornet’s Nest Sounds like this dynamic Demo team could all fit in a 1999 Chrysler minivan with the Secret Service Suburban close behind.

      • Their not doing Hill and Bill any favors. Goben is her campaign chairman and he lost in District 76 to Wendy Mac by something like 65% to 35%. He is no real pro at winning elections.

      • Checked Hornet’s Nest mole. No Slick Willie sightings. Can someone check Scores?

        • All safe. Just saw Bill on TV with Hillary on east coast. He’d have never left Scores, Hornet’s Nest or Zesto

    • Anyone else find the irony of Mosby and Weaver suddenly becoming huge Democrat party members, when they usually bow to their Republican puppet-masters?
