Tropicana Evansville is proud to sponsor the Tropicana Evansville Pro-Am Tournament for a second year at Victoria National Golf Club. The pro-am is a chance for amateur foursomes to be paired with a touring pro and compete in tour-ready conditions, and kicks off the Web.com Tour’s United Leasing Championship (June 27 – 30) which includes a field of approximately 156 professional golfers.
The pro-am event kicks-off on Tuesday, June 25th, from 6PM to 9PM with a Pairings Party at the Tropicana Executive Conference Center. Along with food, drinks and live entertainment, teams of four amateurs and one professional will be revealed. Celebrity golfers include country music star, Vince Gill and two-time PGA Tour Champion, John Daly. Guests will also enjoy auctions including:
* Boxing glove autographed by Muhammad Ali
* Masters Flag autographed by Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer
* Guitar autographed by Jason Aldean
* Guitar autographed by Alan Jackson
* Basketball autographed by Magic Johnson
On Wednesday, June 26, fifty-one (51) teams of four, plus one professional, will play in this year’s Tropicana Pro-Am Tournament for a total of 255 players. Additionally, there will be 145 caddies. The Pro-Am Tournament is a sold out event, but there is free admission for spectators. All net proceeds from the United Leasing Championship event will go to deserving charities throughout the Tri-State.
