Does anyone … I do mean anyone follow up on when the city council gives out taxpayers money to different social organizations? The CC gave money about 2 years ago to a non profit for more housing for the homeless. I have never seen on the media any new housing being built. I still see homeless on the streets. I believe the non profit was run by Rev Anthony Brooks. If I remember correctly Councilman Alex Burton want to take away from police (defund the Police) and give it to the non profit. The CC found other money in the budget to give to the non profit. So where is the money? Show me the apartments. If they had been built … thats great… but how about accountability? or you know the new word Transparency.
