1) Governor Pence Names Geoffrey G. Slaughter to Indiana Supreme Court // May 9, 2016. Governor Mike Pence names Geoffrey G. Slaughter as the 109th Justice to the Indiana Supreme Court at a press conference in the Governor’s Office alongside his wife, Julie Ann. Mr. Slaughter will fill the vacancy left by Justice Brent Dickson, who, after 30 years on the bench, retired on April 29.
2) Governor Pence, Lt. Governor Holcomb Break Ground at Grand Design RV in North Central Indiana // May 12, 2016. Governor Mike Pence and Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb break ground at Grand Design RV in Middlebury, marking its latest expansion, which is expected to create up to 100 new jobs. Grand Design RV will invest $11 million to construct two 110,000-square-foot buildings on its recently purchased 48-acre plot. One facility will be used to manufacture the company’s Imagine trailer, while the other will be an inspection and service center. Both facilities are slated to be completed this fall.
3) Governor Pence, North Central Indiana Break Ground on Regional Cities Initiative Project // May 12, 2016. Governor Mike Pence and Lieutenant Governor Eric Holcomb join regional leaders in South Bend to break ground on the Studebaker Factory Buildings redevelopment, which is one of the region’s marquee projects outlined in its “Innovate Indiana†plan submitted for state funding through the Indiana Regional Cities Initiative.
