Suspect sought in overnight robbery

Evansville Police are investigating an overnight robbery at Laundry USA at 1504 Washington Ave.
Several customers were in the laundry when a black male came in, pointed a handgun at one of the customers, and demanded money. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was not located.
Witnesses said he was about 6’00 tall and thin. He was wearing black pants, black hoodie, and white shoes. He had a blue bandana covering his face.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call EPD at 436-7979.

  1. It is time to ban black hoodies, they are used in far too many crimes. Ditto bandanas. There is no reason for anyone to own a bandana. The fashion police banned them long ago.

  2. I got my property tax bill today. My taxes went up over 25%!!!!!

    The description of THAT thief is a Brady Bunch government building, built in the last 60s or early 70s, last seen being driven by an Eddie Munster look alike in the vicinity of MLK JR BLVD and Main. Considered dumb & dumber.

    • Mine went down. Just saying. Did the assessed value go up or just the amount of tax paid? Lose an exemption by paying off a mortgage or something? There has to be a reason. Or you could just complain.
