A first for the 29th annual Public Education Foundation/EVSC summer musical this year is a silent movie to run during the overture of the show, Thoroughly Modern Millie. The purpose of the film is to give a background on Millie and her departure from her home in Kansas to live in New York City and become a “modern woman.â€
Filming will be done over the course of several days. Media is invited to attend either of the shoots. The schedule of times/places is as follows:
Friday, June 2, 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Reitz Home, 224 SE First Street, Evansville, IN
Wednesday, June 7, 11:00 a.m.-Noon at Audubon Park, 3011 US-41, Henderson KY; by the Museum
