Southwest Indiana Headlined Vice President Pence And Abby Johnson At The “Right to Life Banquet” In Evansville

EVANSVILLE, IN (August 24, 2022) Right to Life of Southwest Indiana hosted its Annual Banquet at the Old National Events Plaza on Thursday, August 25, 2022, with special guest speaker, Vice President Mike Pence, and keynote speaker Abby Johnson, a former director of Planned Parenthood turned Pro-Life Advocate and Founder and CEO of And Then There Were None, an organization that helps abortion workers leave the industry.
The Banquet serves as the organization’s primary fundraising event which helps with its major programs and projects such as providing and maintaining four Safe Haven Baby Boxes at local Fire Departments, providing thousands of diapers to local pregnancy care centers, empowering students and a recently unveiled Go Mobile Clinic which will provide free services to women such as ultrasounds and pregnancy testing for those who are in underserved areas within Southwest Indiana.
“We were privileged to have both Vice President Pence and Abby Johnson as speakers for the Right to Life Banquet,†said Mary Ellen Van Dyke, executive director for Right to Life. “The pro-life movement is forever changed because of the passion and work that Vice President Pence and Abby Johnson do on an everyday basis.â€

Wade has been consigned to the ash heap of history, a new arena in the cause of life has emerged and it is incumbent on all who cherish the sanctity of life to resolve that we will take the defense of the unborn and support for women in crisis pregnancies to every state Capitol in America,†said Vice President Mike Pence. “Right to Life of Southwest Indiana is leading that charge right here in the Hoosier State, and I am proud to stand with you in that arena. tonightâ€
“Right to Life has always been pro-life and pro-woman,†continued Van Dyke. “With the fall of Roe v. Wade, our organization is moving to expand its reach to help moms facing unplanned pregnancies through tangible means such as the Go Mobile Clinic, support of local pregnancy centers, and programs that support those who have had abortions.â€
