truly a breathtaking work of public art. Whimsical yet quixotic; ostentatious without being overbearing; sublime while serving as a metaphor for our ancestors who rode wooden rafts down the mighty Ohio to start this great city.
This is the kind of modern art I enjoy, and I will be sure to spend some time down there when it finally arrives.
The art itself is great, however I wish they would move it down to ground level (when it arrives)so that we could get a better appreciation. I believe Mr. Kish said there was money leftover in the budget, why not commission a few more works from this young man from California?
