At around midnight on today’s date Evansville Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Wall St. after receiving multiple calls that a subject had been shot. Officers arrived in the area and located a male victim with an apparent gun shot wound to the head. The victim was unresponsive but still breathing. AMR and EFD arrived and rendered aide to the victim while officers contained the scene. It was determined that the victim had a second apparent gunshot wound to the lower leg. The victim was transported to a hospital for further treatment of his wounds. His status is listed as serious.
 Crime Scene Detectives arrived on scene to process the incident scene. Multiple shell casings were located in the area. At this time no arrest has been made in connection to this incident and the investigation is ongoing.
