The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office is requesting that anyone who might have witnessed the suspect vehicle or driver from the fatal hit and run on I-69 last night contact the Sheriff’s Office.
Residents, business owners and property managers are asked to review their security camera footage from 10:45 PM onward. No description of the suspect vehicle is currently available, but the vehicle will have damage to the front end. The suspect vehicle likely fled south (west) on I-69 toward the direction of US 41.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 23-year-old David William Egan of Evansville.
