Sheriff Dave Wedding got the chance to pay his respects to a group of World War II veterans this past Sunday.Seventy veterans took part in the Indy Honor Flight this past Saturday, departing Evansville Regional Airport for Washington, D.C. The veterans toured the World War II memorial and met with supporters and admirers. The veterans then returned home Sunday to a hero’s welcome at the airport.Indy Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created solely to honor Indiana’s veterans. Hope the stinking politics doesn’t rub off and affect any more WWII Veterans most don’t have enough time left for that crud to wear off.

Did the Sheriff do this photo op while on the clock, getting paid by my tax dollars?
The Sheriff was welcoming home WW11 Vets and is to be commended for that.
