INDIANA AT THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Hoosiers turned in a terrific outing at the 2021 Big Ten Diving Championships contested from Feb. 25-27 in West Lafayette. IU won four medals from three different divers, placed 10 in Championship Finals, and secured 15 NCAA A Standard scores across the three-day event.

Capobianco and Fowler opened the weekend with gold medals in 1-meter and 3-meter events, respectively. Gould added a silver in the men’s 1M dive on the first night of the event, while Fowler nabbed a second medal (silver) in the women’s 1M.

On the women’s side, Gilliland was one of two divers that reached the Championship Final in all three events.
