Resources for Storm Recovery

• The Indiana Department of Homeland Security’s severe weather preparedness resource page offers explanations of different watches and warnings as well as tips on how to be prepared for severe weather.
• Indiana’s Emergency Management and Preparedness team also provides support tools to ensure Hoosiers can be prepared for, protect against and respond to all hazards that may emerge when a storm rolls through.
• Indiana 211 accepts storm damage reports, which helps IDHS determine damage estimates and help develop the next course of action in the disaster recovery process.

If you were affected by bad weather this week, I hope you and your loved ones were able to stay safe. Disasters like these are never easy, but with the help of our state’s resources and our community networks, I believe we can persist.
