Jeremy Heath filed on Thursday, January 23rd in Indianapolis to run for State Representative for Indiana House District 77.
Mr. Heath is looking forward to serving the people of District 77.  He stated: “I will focus on the issues that Hoosiers care about most.  I know that Indiana can become a leader in business, education and overall innovation if we work together, and work on the right issues.  That’s why we need a representative in Indianapolis who will push to make Indiana all that it can be. It would be a privilege to serve my neighbors and my community as their voice in Indianapolis on the road to renewed growth.â€
Jeremy Heath is married to Sara Heath, and is the father of three young children.  He is a graduate of  the University of Evansville and recently completed “Administrator in Training†at the Good Samaritan Home in Evansville.
Excellent news! I’m glad to see Jeremy running for office again. I fully support him and I ask that the rest on this site do the same.
Can someone send this to the Paris Illinois paper so that Reiken can know what’s happening?
Funny— but also a good point. When the going gets tough for your side, true leaders do not run off and hide. You may not win, but you stand up for your beliefs–you do not cut and run. Riecken gets an “‘F” grade on her actions regarding this issue.
Standing against across the board wage cuts, which is what rtw brings in every state it’s been enacted, gets an A + in my book. Reicken in a landslide.
Kidnapping our constitution to rob the majority of Hoosiers of a right to work earns her an “F.” It Should have earned them an ISP escort back to the state house.
Do you not see the irony in you squawking about the constitution while saying the state police should have also violated it? Incredible!
To The Ghost of Tom Joad:
You do not seem to get the point. Riecken not only left town but left the the State. She left her constitutes unrepresented. She was elected to represent them in the Indiana Legislature and do the best she could do. She skip out.
What could possibly be gained for the voters of HD 77 by going to Illinois?–Answer: Absolutely Nothing! An embarrassment.
Imagine if Democrats had proposed a bill that said restaurant customers had a “Right to Eat”. That the Restaurantuers could not enforce their menu prices. That prices really were not prices just “suggestions” but the owners were still forced to feed any and all blood sucking customers.
That is effectively what your Orwellian, double speak “Right to Work” is.
Then further suppose the Democrats ran to media with a passive aggressive horsesh*t phrase like “We’re not destroying restaurants customers atll, they’re are still free pay their dues”
Wayne you and your ilk would be going apeshit.
Good luck Jeremy
