    • Look. You have to admit that not all the people living in Syria or Iraq are the bad guys. That idea is crazy talk. I admit that some of them are upset by the USA and other countries interfering in their lives. Heck you would be upset and become a rebel fighter if Russian troops invaded our country. And if not then you don’t belong here anymore than they these refugees do.

Now I don’t think we need anymore people being brought into the USA PERIOD. I don’t care where they came from. I don’t discriminate as to place of origin. We have way too many people here now as it is and the more people that come to our country the lower the quality of life we be for those that are already here.

And I do agree with you that it’s not easy to separate the good ones from the bad ones. It’s impossible to vet these people. So I also think that they should not be bringing them over here like this. But where are they to go?

Are you wanting them to die over there? Do you have any empathy for them at all? Do you think that they should all move into internment camps like the Japanese did during WWII? We rounded up all the American’s that looked like they were of Japanese or Asian decent and put them together where the army could keep a watch on them to prevent them from being saboteurs back then. Yesterdays saboteurs are today’s terrorists.

The Nazis under Hitler did terrible things to their unwanted people. So we know what human kind is capable of as we have seen that in the past. Hopefully we have learned not to do that anymore. Look what happened to Hitler and Saddam. The world (USA) won’t stand for that type of Devil work any longer.

Russians send their unwanted people to the Gulag in Siberia where they work them to death and they die in the cold.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulag

So to those that are critical of President Obama let me ask you this. What would you do? Answer it truthfully and think about it for a while. There are human beings not dogs we are talking about. Are they from a differnet culture … yes. But they still are human. Would you just let them die out in the desert?

Look what the Russians are doing to the Syrian and those fighting for their freedom against Assad. Hundreds of innocent people are being bombed by Russian War Planes in Syria right now and we are not trying to stop them with military force. That might start WWIII if we were to do so.

It’s not easy being the President. Everyone and everyone’s grandmother is critical of the President.

Do you think we should rule the world or do you think we should help others rule themselves? But many people don’t want or didn’t ask for our help overseas. So IMHO we are going places where we are not always welcome and are thought of as the Bullies of the World. The Russians were invited to Syria by a dictator. We went into Iraq as an invader and a protector of Saudi Arabia, the country who’s people flew airplanes into the WTC’s and killed over 3000 Americans. We kicked Saddam out of Kuwait when he invaded that tiny country to steal their oil and he was poised on the Boarder with Saudi Arabia when we sent Jets over there to Saudi Arabia to defend them. Some of the pilots and support people were women and Ben Laden went into a rage over that. We were putting American Women on their sacred ground in Saudi Arabia. We turned a one time ally into our enemy with that. You see Ben Ladin and the King of Saudi Arabia were on the outs. They had different views of how the Kingdom should be run. The world is one mixed up place. That is for sure. We can’t control the entire world but we sure try.

Look at what’s going on over in the East and South China Sea in the Far East. That is a mess. Our once enemy Vietnam is now our friend and we are sending arms to Vietnam to help them counter the expansion of China’s military forces into the South China Sea. The Philipines new President is about to kick us out of his country just when China is expanding to his door step. What a mixed up crazy world.

And you are worried about a few thousand refugees coming to our shores? Really?

      • Excellent points! Absolutely on-point!

Personally, I’m kinda the type of person who is a centrist. I’m not 100% an isolationist, but like what you wrote so well, we tend to go places and get involved in things that really and truly have nothing to do with America and her prosperity.

Then we wonder why some groups in foreign lands hate us so much.

    • Fake web sites are not a source of true information. Heck anyone these days can hire a guy to make a web site and have it say anything they want. If the lies are told enough time some dumb people might just start to actually believe it. I think that term is called Brain Washing. Don’t let the Right Wing Extremist brain wash you guys. You can think for yourselves and listen to more legitimate new where real journalist gather and report the truth.

    • You’re confused. It’s the other way around. Electing Trump will likely be the death of America or destruction of the world. Why do you think Russia is trying to influence the outcome of this election? Btw, “the Clintons” are not running for President. Hillary Clinton is. I can see how a misogynist like you would not accept that fact, though.

    • U tube videos made by right wing extremist are not proof of anything. The only thing that they prove is that there is a vast right wing conspiracy to try to bad mouth the Clintons as they do more good for people and that is a treat to the GOP supporters. The lies that are spread about the Clintons from the Right Wing Radicals just blows the minds of ordinary citizens. That is why the middle class and the independents keep voting for the Dem and not the GOP candidates. They know a loser when they see one. And Donald John Trump is a loser.

BTW the Independent voters will decide who wins this election and they are voting for Hillary by a wide margin and avoiding Donald John Trump.

  1. This is a very sad story. It is the story of one Trump devotee who has been kicked in the teeth by her life’s circumstances, many of which were beyond her control. When I thought about it, I realized that everyone I know who supports Trump has some kind of traumatic event in their life that they have not been able to handle well, whether it is a series of decisions that made them “failures” in life, the loss of a child or the collapse of a marriage that their life was built on, or the poorly concealed sexual propensities that have led to numerous miserable marriages and a reputation for gay bashing.
The article is long, but worth the time to read it. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/%e2%80%98finally-someone-who-thinks-like-me%e2%80%99/ar-BBwSGYe?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=ASUDHP

  2. THE TEFLON DON: Gotti Sentenced to Life in Prison Without the Possibility of Parole

    THE TEFLON CLINTONS: TBA

  3. I was wondering if anyone can address the loss of homestead credit to the county taxpayers in regards to a city council action.

    • Simple: The city will not curb its spending. Expect to pay more taxes in the future. The existence of the Evansville Redevelopment Commission insures that the chamber will always have taxpayer funded projects in the ERC pipeline, and that no mayor they purchase will ever dare turn the spigot down or off.

Anything else you want to know?

      • I was referring to how someone not elected by county residents could control tax on property outside the city limits. If the county commissioners or county council voted on this elimination of the 2 % per year reduction citizens should be notified so they can converse with their representatives. Or else it’s taxation without representation.

  4. As it seems, the Presidential election has diverted the attention off the financial mayhem our City find itself. Considering that this Mayor broke the law when he diverted $12.5 million dollars from the Riverboat without the authority of City Council and after six months has spent the entire amount on what we will never know. Unpaid medical bills nearly 10 million on top of it. And then the dimwit comes up with another project ..Penguins. Anna Hargis has been labeled by contacting John Friend, remember the dude that kept criticizing Winnecke for his ineptness in dealing with our financial affairs. Maybe Friend is or is not the one to consult with but she better find someone very soon if she hopes to keep any reputation alive as a CPA.

I would say that what most citizens are concerned about here in Evansville falls under “article I”, which states: “The Mayor shall ensure efficient government of the City.”

So a way forward would be to draft a petition stating that the signers of said petition believe the mayor is in violation of Article I , and then try to get as many signers as possible.

Hey, you made a marvelous response yesterday, and I just replied. Check it out and let me know what you think

    • Secretary Ron Brown took Bill Clinton’s offshore Asian fundraising secrets during Clinton’s reelection campaign to the grave with him. Albeit not voluntarily.

  6. Yes, Ron Brown knew all the dirty facts about the Clintons. He was, after all, Chairman of the Democratic Party under the Clinton Administration.

In a case of the apple not falling far from the tree, this is where Ron’s son Michael is today:

    [Wikipedia]

    Federal charges

On June 7, 2013, federal prosecutors charged Brown with bribery.[43] Between July 2012 and February 2013, then-Councilmember Brown allegedly sought and accepted $55,000 in cash from representatives of a business to help the business receive contracts and preferential government certification.[43] The representatives were actually undercover employees of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.[43] Brown described it as a “loan arrangement”, not a bribe.[43][44] The charge was issued with a document that usually indicates that there has been a plea deal.[43] Federal prosecutors sought a $35,000 judgement against Brown.[45]

In February 2014, federal prosecutors said that Jeffrey E. Thompson illegally paid $100,000 of Brown’s campaign’s bills, to which Brown admitted.[26][46] Brown also admitted to accepting a $20,000 illegal donation from Thompson during his 2007 campaign and an illegal $125,000 donation from Thompson during his 2008 campaign.[26][30] Brown was also accused of accepting a bribe from Thompson to drop out of the 2006 election for mayor.[47]

Brown pleaded guilty to the charge of accepting a bribe from the undercover agents.[48] As part of the plea deal, he did not face charges on accepting bribes and illegal contributions in 2006, 2007, and 2008, allowing him to avoid the minimum 15-year sentence he could have received had he been convicted by a jury.[3]

Prosecutors asked for Brown to be sentenced to 43 months in prison at his sentencing hearing on May 8, 2014.[26] Brown’s defense attorneys requested that Brown be sentenced to less than 37 months, less than the minimum sentence under federal guidelines.[26]

On May 29, 2014, Brown was sentenced to 39 months in prison, two years of supervised release, and 200 hours of community service.[3] Brown’s attorney said that Brown would not run for public office again.[49] He is, as of May 2016, incarcerated at Federal Prison Camp, Montgomery, a minimum security prison in Alabama.[50] He is scheduled to be released in May 2017.[51]

    • TWO OTHER “DEATHS” AT COMMERCE DEPARTMENT:

      1. – Barbara Wise – Commerce Department staffer. Worked closely with Ron Brown and John Huang. Cause of death unknown. Died November 29, 1996. Her bruised, nude body was found locked in her office at the Department of Commerce.

2.- Charles Meissner – Assistant Secretary of Commerce who gave John Huang special security clearance, died shortly thereafter in a small plane crash.

  7. If you will remember, the Presidential Debate Commission said that Lester Holt would NOT be allowed to wear an ear piece during the debate.

Well folks, this Hillary Clinton we are talking about here, and as we all know rules do not apply to the corrupt Clintons.

    https://youtu.be/H17Yl8uHVFw

Lester Holt WAS wearing an ear piece, and Hillary was also signaling Holt, when she wanted to get in one of her so called zingers, with her finger swipes on the side of her nose. Not to mention all the equipment tucked under her podium. It was all caught on camera.

        • No question that Clinton knew not only the topics but the order in which they were presented. So obvious that she was signaling to Holt. Remember MSNBC is owned by NBC and even though Holt supposedly is center right he needs the job.

          • Oh my God. The truth is that Donald Trump is unprepared to be our President. Hell he’s not fit to be a dog catcher or any other City official. He needs to start at the bottom and work his way up. Who told him that he could start at the top in his first ever run for office of any kind. The gun is a moron. He fails to pay taxes and would rig the tax system even more in his favor so that the ultra rich never have to pay any taxes while the rest of us get taxed to death. No wonder he refused to release his taxes to the media so that the US Public can see that he used his high paid lawyers to avoid paying Federal Taxes for the last ten years or so. And according to the news reports he could avoid paying federal taxes for the next ten years or more.
