   • Yawn, Joey and his Clinton Derangement Syndrome using Washington Post when it suits the right-wing lie system. Meanwhile, Cheetolini has lied over 9,000 times in two years, and the Post had to make up a new category because Trump is incapable of telling truth

     The Washington Post fact-checking feature reports that Donald Trump’s ceaseless lying has required the creation of a new label beyond “Four Pinocchios” for blatantly false statements

     “Trump’s willingness to constantly repeat false claims has posed a unique challenge to fact-checkers. Most politicians quickly drop a Four-Pinocchio claim, either out of a duty to be accurate or concern that spreading false information could be politically damaging.

     Not Trump. The president keeps going long after the facts are clear, in what appears to be a deliberate effort to replace the truth with his own, far more favorable, version of it. He is not merely making gaffes or misstating things, he is purposely injecting false information into the national conversation.

     To accurately reflect this phenomenon, The Washington Post Fact Checker is introducing a new category — the Bottomless Pinocchio. That dubious distinction will be awarded to politicians who repeat a false claim so many times that they are, in effect, engaging in campaigns of disinformation.

     The bar for the Bottomless Pinocchio is high: The claims must have received three or four Pinocchios from The Fact Checker, and they must have been repeated at least 20 times. Twenty is a sufficiently robust number that there can be no question the politician is aware that his or her facts are wrong. The list of Bottomless Pinocchios will be maintained on its own landing page”

   Left-wing pop icon Cher suggested in a recent social media post that women create laws over men’s bodies like banning the use of Viagra and giving the death penalty for those men who use massage parlors.

     • A Georgia state lawmaker is drafting legislation banning vasectomies and requiring men to get permission from their sex partners before obtaining a prescription for Viagra or any erectile dysfunction medication.

       The legislation would also restrict men’s access to pornography and sex toys.

Dar’shun Kendrick, a Democrat, says she proposed the legislation to PARODY a restrictive new abortion bill, known as the ‘heartbeat’ bill, which was approved by the state’s House of Representatives last week. The legislation bans most abortions after a doctor can detect a heartbeat in the womb, which is usually during around 6 weeks into pregnancy”

         Kendrick told Fox 5 in Atlanta the bill is designed to show how ridiculous it is that any state government should regulate what people do to their bodies, yet the right-wing bigots in the state want to vote on their heartbeat bill to regulate women

         It’s blatantly unconstitutional, and the old white men of the GOP knows that. This has been proposed so that it will be challenged in court so that it can be another failure of the GOP to try and find a test case for SCOTUS in the hopes that Roe v. Wade will be overturned

         This idiotic failure is also fiscally irresponsible by counting fetuses in the census and on tax returns. So someone carrying multiple children could get tax credits now even though they may not carry all children to full term? How would the Department of Revenue and IRS prove pregnancy and number? Even if it could be proved, do those departments have the infrastructure to handle the influx of requests for deductions and credits?

         Finally, it’s another ignorant right-wing BS effort that is legally dubious. If a fetus is counted as a human being, it takes all existing criminal law statutes to a whole other level. So if someone commits a felony while pregnant or while around a pregnant person, is that child endangerment? Can pregnant women now ride in high-occupancy vehicle lanes? If a pregnant woman who didn’t know she was pregnant dies in a horrific murder, does that unknown pregnancy count as an additional homicide?

         Thanks for helping to prove you and pig73 are kinda clueless as well as hypocritical, but you keep throwing your right-wing crap at the walls hoping something sticks

4. It’s a sad situation that any profits generated by successful events at the Ford Center money pit is being eaten up by a bad hockey team that very few locals have any interest in.

5. The streets in this town are falling apart.. Washington ave has potholes that are going to cause a serious accident and people just swerve around them and say nothing .. Our Mayor wants to spend money on more bicycle lanes that no one uses.. sidewalks are dangerous and the city says they have no money for repair..Is this not what our tax dollars are suppose to pay for..Am I the only one who is upset with this ? are we afraid to stand up to the city leaders .

   • The DMD paid $535,000 for the CVS building at 800 N Main. It is now appraised for $893,100. Rumor has it that the DMD wants to sell if for $127,000. If this is true, we have a major scandal.

     • Norm, I agree that this is a scandal in the making, and the “appraised value” in our area is usually a gross undervaluation of the price. The “market value” usually means more and comes to the bargaining table at usually at least 10% over the “appraised” value you can see online.

       I am curious who the realtor is and what the asking price is. Does anybody want to wager it is a Tucker realty agent?

     • The City (DMD) paid $500,000+ for the former CVS building on North Main. Purchased from Warren Properties. Now leased to a dialysis company. Not sure who paid for the renovations.
       The City (DMD) would now like to sell the building (including the lease) by bid. Guess who happens to be the current high bidder? Warren Properties at $180,000.
