2. Actually, I’d prefer for the State Legislature to fund elevating Highway 41 from one end of Evansville to the other thus eliminating all the grade level crossings/intersections.
   I can’t believe INDOT didn’t include elevating the intersection of Highway 41 with Virginia Street (thus removing a CF intersecrmtion and a rail crossing on Highway 41) during the recent reconstruction of theHighway 41 and the Lloyd Expressway interchange. And the City of Evansville agreed to it!

   College Threatens Action Against Student Who Posted ‘Pepe the Frog’ on Bulletin Board

     Amazing that this SmallLeage website is parroting the same right-wing racism that has appeared about this subject by over 50 right-wing blogs. None of them are news websites, just right-wing BS machines. The search for this was stopped at fifty because even Google recognized this as bigotry and white supremacy in action

     Pepe’s green visage has been designated a hate symbol by the Anti-Defamation League. The meme is used frequently by people who regularly support white nationalism and anti-immigrant views, so the meme has been quickly absorbed into Internet repertoire. People who identify with those movements add the frog emoji to their message on all sorts of social media

     Maybe if you pulled your head out of Trumps backside and READ what the college said you would learn something. Pepe is banned on Facebook and the Apple App store because of the BS meanings idiots use it for

     In an emailed letter to the campus community titled “Hate Has No Home On Our Campus,” FLC President Whitney Yamamura, Academic Senate President Paula Haug, Classified Senate President Lindsey Campbell, and Student Senate President Cameron Sanders explained the reason the college felt compelled to take action over the image

     “[Pepe] has been commonly co-opted by white supremacists and others as a symbol of bigotry. While we do not immediately know the intentions of the person(s) who posted the picture, we are treating this incident with the highest level of seriousness and have already conducted a sweep of all Folsom Lake College campuses to look for other instances of these materials”

     The letter goes on to encourage students to report any other evidence of “hateful or bigoted” messaging, but also stresses the college’s commitment to supporting free speech

     “We believe that we can create an environment free of hateful language or symbols while still supporting the rights afforded to us in the First Amendment. Folsom Lake College has always been, and must continue to be, a place for collegial and mature conversation about complex issues. As a college, we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning and working environment, as demonstrated from our ongoing professional development workshops and trainings related to equity and inclusion”

     If the college had done nothing, you would have been standing in line with the pitchforks and torches because a “liberal” college did not react to the safety issue. The college reacting appropriately by asking LAW ENFORCEMENT to assure the campus is safe

     This is the direct cause of Trump and his alt-right right-wing fanatics who have already killed multiple times because of the hate message from Trump. There is no place for levity, and this idiot student will figure that out

   The White House lied and claimed that world leaders applauded Vice President Mike Pence when he dropped the name of President Donald Trump into a speech, but the videos of the address, which have gone viral over Pence getting snubbed, have already proved the transcript published is “fake news”

   Pence was speaking at the Munich Security Conference when he passed along greetings from Trump to European and Asian government leaders. He paused for several seconds for cheers, but the crowd remained silent

   Senator Sheldon Whitehouse tweeted that he was at the conference when Pence was speaking, and “the silence was deafening”

   But the White House claimed that the vice president received applause after mentioning Trump. The administration published a transcript of Pence’s remarks in which it specifically wrote that the statement was followed by “(Applause)”

   Even when VIDEO shows that there was NO applause, this administration cannot handle the truth

   I find it very telling that Pence even changed the speech the Tangerine Terror wanted him to give. In the televised address, Pence told the crowd: “I bring greetings from the 45th president of the United States of America, President Donald Trump”

   But the White House account had Pence saying: “To them and to all of you, it’s my great honor to speak to you today, on behalf of a champion of freedom and a champion of a strong national defense, the 45th President of the United States of America, President Donald Trump”

   I’m glad Pence changed it, but seeing what Trump wrote is nauseating and revolting

7. I would like to comment on the drag Queen story hour.
   How many police officers were deployed to provide security for this event?
   For the last 4 months my neighborhood has been picked clean by thieves. They have stolen items from my cars and garages. They have stolen vehicles from my neighborhood. I have not seen a police car driving through my neighborhood.
   .Stealing in my middle class neighborhood does not get extra police patrol but maybe if the Drag Queen can stand on the corner and read a book the police will come along and stop the stealing.

8. U.S. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) told Breitbart News Sunday it is time to recognize that certain Mexican cartel factions are a terrorist threat to the United States. His interview follows a letter sent to the U.S. Secretary of State requesting the designation of specific cartel factions as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO).

   Congressmen Roy and Mark Green (R-TN) wrote a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo requesting that the State Department designate the Reynosa/Los Metros faction of the Gulf Cartel, the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas, and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel offshoot of the Sinaloa Cartel be designated as FTOs because of their actions in Mexico and their threat to the health and safety of U.S. citizens. “They threaten the stability of governments across the globe,” the Congressmen wrote. “Even the United Nation’s Security Council has recognized the clear link between drug trafficking and terrorism.”
