Quality Control Inspection Forms for City Parks

Well, Well, Well, it seems as though there are examples of using quality inspections to keep park systems looking good.

Here is a link for the curious. Once again, Evansville does not need to invent this, monkey-see monkey-do techniques should suffice to get our parks a good inspection.

  1. Thanks! CCO, for bringing the solution to light. Good luck trying to get the attention of the distracted leadership now in place.

Adopting this plan, or one like it would do more for the County than anything else within the realm of reasonable possibility.

That is, IF an honest effort was made to follow it.

As I see things, accountability is taboo, and honest effort is beneath the dignity of current leaders and their shills.

    But, Thanks!

  2. I’m currently in New York City. I’ve visited several parks in Manhattan and the Bronx and driven/riden by many more in the other boroughs. Every park that I’ve been to or seen has been heavily used by the public. Day and night there are people walking, jogging, excercising their pets, sitting on benches and blankets with loved ones enjoying the scenery. All of the parks that I’ve been to has been cared for many times better than the parks in Evansville. It makes me long for days in the future when our parks are better maintained and a place that families enjoy going to and spending time. I think a letter to the Director Parks & Rec. giving him a piece of my mind is in order upon my return.

  3. BigPappa,

Save your breath! They know! The problem is the budget cuts that have been made to redirect funds to other worthless projects (Like the arena).
