Purple Aces Club To Hold Cookout On April 29
On Saturday April 29, the Purple Aces Club will hold a free Ballpark Cookout in conjunction with the University of Evansville baseball and softball home games that day.
The cookout will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will feature hot dogs, brats, chips and soft drinks while supplies last. It is free to fans wearing their Purple Aces gear and will take place between Braun Stadium and Cooper Stadium on the UE campus.
That day will see plenty of great Aces action with softball getting things started versus Illinois State. Evansville faces the Redbirds in a doubleheader that begins at noon with game two starting at approximately 2 p.m.
Baseball will also be home as they take on Missouri State. The Bears currently stand at 6-0, giving Aces fans the opportunity to see their squad face the best that the Missouri Valley Conference has to offer.
