This time of the year is known as “kitten season” due to the extremely high number of kittens and cats being brought in to the shelter. And cats can reproduce many times over the course of a year.
Please consider providing these 4 acts of kindness:
1) Take an adult cat into your home to love for its lifetime. It is truly a gift to yourself, your cat, and to the community.
2) Refrain from bringing cats or kittens to the shelter if there is any way humanely possible to do so.
3) Make a donation of money or your time to support VHS especially NOW! They are short staffed and the need is really great!
4) Spay or neuter all your pets!!! Support S/N of all feral cats in your neighborhood. Enlist your neighbors to help as well.
