Parks Board Agenda

Bids for the Pickleball Courts in Wesselman Park will be opened at tomorrow’s Parks Board meeting.  This will be added to the final agenda that will go out tomorrow morning. 

NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that Evansville Parks & Recreation, acting for and on behalf of the City of Evansville, Board of Park Commissioners, will until Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. CST receive, publicly open and read aloud sealed bids in Room 301 of the Civic Center Complex, 1 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Evansville, IN 47708 for work consisting of: Pickleball Courts Wesselman Park Project NO. 2203-160 BID REQUIREMENTS: All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the Board of Park Commissioners of the City of Evansville in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount as evidence of good faith of the bidder and such deposit shall be subject to forfeiture in the event the bidder fails to execute his contract in accordance with his bid. The Board of Park Commissioners of the City of Evansville reserves the right to award separate contracts for each item and/or the right to reject any and all bids if considered to be in the best interest of the City of Evansville. This bid is subject to the City’s Minority/Women Business Utilization Program, pursuant to the City of Evansville Municipal Code 3.90.110-180. This bid is subject to the City’s Responsible Bidding requirements, pursuant to the City of Evansville Municipal Code 3.95.040. No Bid may be withdrawn after the opening of Bids without the consent of the Board of Park Commissioners for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids. The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids, and to waive any informalities in the Bids.
