IS IT TRUE that tomorrow is the first time that there is an opportunity to open the floor for discussion at the Evansville City Council where the vote to make a $4.8 Million loan was shoved through under duress two weeks ago?…that there are many legitimate vetting questions that have gone unanswered and even questions from City Councilman John Friend were ignored by Debbie Dewey of GAGE in the name of proprietary information?…that we have seen Councilman Friend’s questions and have formulated some of our own and there should be nothing proprietary about questions a s simple as “has this been tested at real world pressures?”, “how many have been installed?”, or is there really a PO in place from the Department of Defense?…that we are very skeptical of the statements made that the DOD was expecting deliveries in two months because other Langson dealers (and there are many) are quoting 6 months for the delivery of a single unit?…that both sets of statements CAN NOT BE TRUE?

IS IT TRUE that if the statement regarding the DOD expecting deliveries within 2 months (now 6 weeks) is not true and the fact that the City Council really did vote under threats and duress would create a situation where a loan decision was made under duress with incorrect information from the loan applicant?…that this is sufficient grounds for a discussion on rescinding the offer to make the loan?…that the people of Evansville need the financial and legal minds available to the Evansville City Council to VET SO WE DON’T BET on this one?…that Councilman Friend, Councilman McGinn, Councilwoman Riley, City Attorney Hamilton, and City Controller Russ Lloyd Jr. all have the credentials to VET and bring this situation up for discussion?…that from a technical perspective the real study that was supposed to be finished by March 31 has not been released and until it is there will be people who think it does not exist?…that there was a PhD from Vectren who accompanied Ms. Dewey to Reno who has remained mute on the subject of whether or not what he saw constituted a real world conditions test that is ready to be installed into pressurized transmission lines up to 1,750 psi?…that a statement from that PhD stating explicitly that he saw a unit in the field at working pressure extracting electricity from a pressure let down station would sooth many fears?…that in the absence of such a statement from someone who was there leads to the conclusion that the answer is NO?

IS IT TRUE that the following solicitation for dealer-partners appears on the bottom of a press release issued by Langson Energy announcing that two dealer partners had signed on?…that it is not all that rare to solicit for new dealers, franchises, or business opportunities when announcing that others have come on board?

• The right to buy Langson Energy equipment at a discount that will generate high profit margins when sold to Dealer customers;
• The right to service Langson Energy Equipment purchased by Dealer customers;
• An exclusive territory or vertical market for no cost (exclusivity begins after the purchase of equipment totaling 2MW);
• Training and support provided by Langson Energy;

Dealer-Partners Should Have:
• Marketing, sales and service capabilities;
• Ability to purchase equipment totaling 2 MW in the first year, with increasing numbers thereafter;
• Experience or connections in:
o Oil & Gas Industry
o Natural Gas Pipeline Industry
o Energy Generation Industry

IS IT TRUE that the offices of the City of Evansville are closed today so we expect that we will have less comments than in the past because the comment machine from the Civic Center has been operating at full speed again during the last month?

IS IT TRUE that our search for licensees for the Langson Energy device that Earthcare Energy will supposedly be building in the old Whirlpool building is yielding lots of answers?…that we have learned of six licensees and have been is some sort of contact with those that have working phones?…that there is what would qualify as nearly absolute agreement among the distributors on several things?…that every distributor that we have spoken with is aware that there have been no sales or shipments of the Langson device to date?…that every distributor that we have spoken with is under the impression that the Langson devices will be manufactured in Carson City, NV by Langson Energy?…that every distributor that we have spoken with is of the opinion that the only prototype to have been tested is the one in the youtube video that is shown operating at a top end pressure of only 70 psi?…that every distributor that we have spoken with is aware that gas transmission lines are pressurized at up to 1,750 psi which by engineering standards is a very different world than the low relative pressure of 70 psi?…that all off the distributors that we have spoken with are optimistic that these issues will be overcome and that they will be installing many units?…that the lead time estimates from the dealerships that we have spoken to are all about 6 months?

IS IT TRUE that these substantially equal opinions sort of question the statements that were made before the Evansville City Council about “the DOD wants to see us installing these Langson devices within 2 months” and “the nuclear plant situation in New York will get us Billions of dollars in business”?…that the questions asked by City Councilman John Friend and the City County Observer of Debbie Dewey the president of GAGE need to be answered and answered soon so that the people of Evansville will really know how the loan application was VETTED?…that if this deal turns into a little Evansville version of the Obama Administration’s Solyndra debacle that the people who recommended it and voted for it will need some cover as this will not be forgotten?…that the Evansville Redevelopment Commission of 2007 – 2011 can vouch for that?

IS IT TRUE that amidst all of the official good economic news on the jobs front that two big players, namely Yahoo and PPG have announced about 4,000 layoffs?…that gasoline in Evansville has now topped $4 per gallon on average?…that the average Evansville wage earner with a 20 gallon gas tank now has to work a full 8 hour day to earn enough money after taxes to fill that tank?…that the price of food, utilities, and clothing are also seeing increases this year?…that of course the “official” government inflation rate will not show this because it excludes food and energy, the only two things that we all actually have to purchase?

IS IT TRUE that late yesterday the Detroit City Council grudgingly and by a single vote margin consented to move forward with a financial “save the city” plan?…that this action was taken less than 24 hours before the Governor of Michigan was set to take all authority from the Council and the Mayor and put an emergency manager into place with powers to negate existing contracts much like a bankruptcy trustee does when people or private businesses find themselves in over their head?…that to succeed the City of Detroit will have to do the same things that the emergency manager would have done or else they will be taken over in the future?…that these actions include but are not limited to tearing up union contracts and imposing terms that are consistent with a balanced budget, outsourcing work to lower cost providers, restructuring the over $13 Billion in bonded debt, cutting back on services, and revisiting the retirement plan for all workers and city retirees?…that the failure to remain competitive in world markets, continued tolerance of corruption, and a shrinking population base are the factors that lead to this point in history for Detroit?…that every city and town in America needs to learn as much as they can about the fall of Detroit and take actions that will avoid a similar fate?

IS IT TRUE that just in the last 10 years Detroit has borrowed money for a baseball stadium, a football stadium, the Renaissance Center, and has granted favorable tax an operating status to the waterfront casino?…that in spite of these things a city that once had nearly 2 Million people shrank by two Evansville’s in only 10 years to about 750,000?…that when people flee any city whether it is to escape oppressive taxation, crime, or a stagnant economy the city slowly dies?…that in the 1950’s Detroit had it all, failed to adapt, and now is the poster child for abject failure as a city?…that cities out there including Evansville who are still mimicking some of Detroit’s gimmicks had better wise up before it is too late?

IS IT TRUE that companies that offer or have offered the Langson Energy gas pressure letdown device keep coming out of the woodwork?…that just yesterday we were made aware of a company in Sacramento called California Energy Systems that has a website touting the same video that Earthcare Energy has?…that the phones are disconnected and the website is not being kept current?…that Helix Power Generators of Houston, TX also has a website that touts their status as an authorized dealer for the Langson Energy device?…that the CCO has learned that Helix Power that is in Houston just like Earthcare Energy has never heard of Earthcare Energy?…that Trans Pacific Enviro Energy of Alberta, Canada is advertising a gas pressure letdown energy recovery device that is from Electratherm, a company that Mr. Langson founded?…that the claims made for the product sound quite familiar?…that this has our count up to nearly 10 competitors in a field that supposedly has no competition?…that the chickens seem to be getting much closer to the roost for those who can recognize a chicken?

IS IT TRUE that it is about time that the documentation and plans that GAGE and the City Council used to make this loan decision are made available is now?…that it has been 5 days since the CCO asked some simple questions of Ms Dewey without a response?…that City Councilman John Friend has also been snubbed by GAGE and received limited insufficient responses to his list of questions?…that keeping people and especially elected official intentionally ignorant is not an acceptable way to run any city?
