“TropWorld Casino” now available on iTunes, Kindle and Google Play*

Gaming industry leader Tropicana Entertainment Inc. announced today the worldwide launch of “TropWorld Casino,” a free-to-play social casino app for mobile phones and tablets featuring slots, video poker, and bingo games. The launch was completed in partnership with social casino app developer and publisher Ruby Seven Studios.

The TropWorld Casino app offers only free games, and players can log in daily to collect coins to play with. Players can also make in-app purchases for more coins and bingo power-ups to further their progress in the games. However, there is no wagering or winning of money or prizes. The app is available on Google Play, Apple iTunes and Amazon Kindle.

“We wanted to offer free, non-gambling games that a wide audience can enjoy,” says Tony Rodio, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tropicana Entertainment Inc. “Players around the world will have fun with our TropWorld Casino app.”

The free app features real casino favorites such as Multi-Strike Pokerâ„¢ and Gems Wild Tilesâ„¢ along with other slot, bingo and video poker games, with even more titles coming soon. All games are free-to-play and include features like progressive tournaments, social chat, and leader boards. Friends can compete, compare scores and progress and help each other in reaching goals.

Michael Carpenter, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Ruby Seven Studios said, “We’re really excited to bring these new games to the Tropicana audience. It’s an incredible opportunity for players to engage with Tropicana Entertainment and enjoy completely free entertainment that really has new and unique qualities. These are outstanding games and we’re proud to share them.”

Gail Riecken To Have Press Conference To Discuss State Of Cities General Fund

Mayor’s Administration has not presented spending plan to the City Council or Public

Over a year ago, the Mayor stated that money was going to be tight to pay the bonds for the development of the Hotel and Med School. At the same time, he was told he had to have a spending plan in place, and that
without that, we would continue to drown in bills we couldn’t pay.

To date, no plan has been made public and the Mayor’s administration appears to be playing a shell game to show a positive balance in the General Fund and to pay the bills.

With Budget hearings starting in 2 weeks the public has the right to know the actual state of the city’s finances.  The end of year balance in the general fund last year was in the black by $307,000 but a closer look
shows the shell game and that the actual is almost $4.5 million in the red.  The Mayor was supposed to have a spending plan for last year’s budget and still have not presented it to the public or the City Council.
The Mayor needs to have the spending plan that he promised and present it to the public now for comment and review.
