First Security Bank has expanded its Compliance department and Information Technology department with the hiring of Compliance Officer Andy Miller and Information Technology Specialist Chris Besecker at the corporate headquarters in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Andy has over 18 years experience in banking, with 10 years in compliance regulation. He has held various positions in management, loan operations, sales, retail banking, and customer service. A graduate of Western Kentucky University, Andy received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Economics. Most recently Andy spent the last three years working as the President/Chief Executive Officer with Ripley Federal Savings Bank in Ripley, Ohio. Andy’s primary responsibilities include ensuring the bank is in line with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and consumer protection laws.
Chris Besecker comes to First Security Bank with over 15 years experience in management, system engineering, and network administration. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Systems Management with a concentration in Information Systems from Western Kentucky University. Chris was most recently with MPD Inc., in Owensboro, Kentucky and spent the last three years working as a Computer Network Administrator.
