0

Evansville, IN – Leah Davis, disability support advisor at Ivy Tech Community College Evansville, has been honored with the President’s Spirit of Diversity Award for 2024.

According to her nomination, Davis, a 16-year employee of Ivy Tech Evansville, remains deeply committed to raising awareness for students who need disability support. “Recently, she assessed our popular Gloria’s Garden and identified ways to make it more accessible. Through her actions, Leah inspires others to think more about accessibility needs. She also supports the legacy and future of the diversity council and diversity champions on campus.”

Davis was recognized during a ceremony in Indianapolis on June 5.

June is Homeownership Month

0

Since 2002, June has been nationally recognized as Homeownership Month! At IHCDA, we believe that all Hoosiers should have the opportunity to live in a safe, affordable, good-quality home. IHCDA’s homeownership team promotes this mission year-round by offering programs to assist Indiana homebuyers in purchasing a home.

The homeownership team partners with licensed mortgage lenders and realtors to make sure prospective homebuyers are aware of the different down payment assistance and lower interest rate options available for qualified buyers. We spend time out in the community promoting our mission and continuously educate our partners. IHCDA currently has programs offering 2.5%, 3.5% and 6% down payment assistance, as well as a lowered interest rate purchase program and an IHCDA exclusive refinance product.
