Ralph Myers, 92, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019, in Evansville, where he lived. He was born on December 16, 1926, to the late Lancelot and Mae Myers.

Ralph worked for Bucyrus Erie for almost 40 years. He enjoyed watching sports, especially those involving his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Eugene (Ed), and Clarence and a sister, Ella Ruth.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara (Hape) Myers; sons, Ralph Wayne (Lisa) and Gregory; grandchildren, Jordan, Ashley, Lance, Caleb, Austin, and Amber Myers; great-grandchildren, Bristol, Stetson, and Remington; in-laws, Darlene Mullen, Michael Hape (Judy), Carol Rueger (Kenny), Danny Hape (Janie), Bill Hape (Bonnie), and Steve Hape (Linda); nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, officiated by Pastor Gene Backes, with burial to follow. Friends may visit Monday, August 19, 2019, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel, and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel.

, 64, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 17th, at Columbia Health Care. She was born on February 21, 1955 in Evansville, IN.

Mary loved flea markets, yard sales, fishing, cooking and most of all swimming. When Mary was younger, she enjoyed motorcycles and riding on the Harley with her husband, Larry. She also spent many years traveling over-the-road with Larry who was a truck driver. She would always tell stories about their experiences on the road. Mary adored music, her favorites being Elvis and Hank Williams, Jr. She was devoted to her son, John. He was the joy of her life.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mae Lenn; father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Dorothy Walther and sister-in-law, Mary Kay Fulton.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Larry Walther; son, John Walther (Brandi); grandsons, Axten Walther and Logan Sisk; brothers-in-law, Jim Walther (Janice) and James O. Fulton; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Bobby Cox with burial to follow at Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Virginia L. Bjoralt, 85, of Henderson, was called home to Heaven, August 17, 2019, at Redbanks Skilled Nursing Facility in Henderson, KY. Born September 27, 1933, in Blackford, KY to the late Nona L. and Berthel T. Mattingly.

Virginia was so very proud of her family. She enjoyed all of the little things in life, was an amazing cook, and enjoyed reading. She was the most loving soul. She loved all and was loved by all. She gave all she had to anyone in need. She worked hard for many years and retired from the United States Postal Service in 1992.

Virginia was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Sue Martin and her loving husband of 63 years, Loyal M. Bjoralt.

Virginia is survived by her only son; David Michael (Geneva L.) Bjoralt; grandchildren, Jordan Bjoralt-Webb (Justin Webb) and Michael (Katelyn) Bjoralt; great-grandchildren, her pride and joy, Gabe and Mattie Jo Webb. Virginia was proud of the news to be a Great GG again to Nona Jane Bjoralt of Michael and Katelyn who will be arriving in January 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Phillip Wagoner, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 9:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Jo-Ann Wilson, 90, of Evansville, IN passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019 at The Terrace of Solarbron. Jo-Ann was born in Evansville, IN on October 10, 1928 in Evansville, IN to Archie and Lottie (Major) Wilson.

She was a 1946 graduate of F.J. Reitz High School. Early in her career she worked in the office at Midland Trucking Company. She later worked in the business office at the University of Southern Indiana until she retired in 1989. She was a huge fan and loyal supporter of the USI women and men’s basketball program, and was a past member of the USI Varsity Club. In her younger days she loved traveling in the US and also abroad. She loved working in her yard, the Chicago Cubs and her little Yorkie, Bo. She was a charter member of the Poplar Grove Neighborhood Association. Jo-Ann was a lifelong active member of St. James West UMC. She loved her church family and also loved working the church rummage sale over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Jean Wilson; brother, Dr. Jack W. Wilson and sister-in-law, Ardella (Bannister) Wilson.

Jo-Ann is survived by her nieces, Vicki (Frank) Wilson, Jacki (Michael) Roehr; nephew, Dr. Scott (Linda) Wilson; nine great nieces and nephews and eighteen great- great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W Illinois St, Evansville, IN 47712, officiated by Pastor Gene Backes with entombment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the funeral home.

Noah David Neuhoff, 21, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019. He was born on April 9, 1998 in Evansville, Indiana.

He graduated from Harrison High School and attended Ivy Tech. Noah had been a supervisor at J.C. Penney and currently worked at C.P.R. (Cell Phone Repair). He had an affinity for animals, particularly a love for cats. Noah had an old and gentle soul who enjoyed antiques, pottery, estate sales, flea markets and trinkets. He was an avid reader and had a thirst for knowledge. Noah was a tech savant who could fix anything. He enjoyed traveling to the beach and to concerts. Noah LOVED music and enjoyed playing the guitar. He loved Chinese food especially eating with his chopsticks.

Noah was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ursula Raven (James); great-grandmother, Mary Kay Willix; and uncles Gary Willix and Stedmond Baird.

He is survived by his mother, Harmonii (Baird) Culbertson; father and step-mother, David and Jama Neuhoff; brother, Christian Culbertson (Selina); brother, Brayden Broyles; step-sister, Darby Forbes; grandparents, Dennis Neuhoff, Carolyn Baird and Darrell Baird; aunts and uncles; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gary was a member of Light of Faith Pentecostal Church and previously a member of Full Gospel Mission Church. He loved Cardinal’s Baseball, listening to music, playing bingo, going out to eat, and spending time with family on holidays.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Aileene (Kendall) Pancake; sisters, Elizabeth Barnes and Gracie Pancake; and brother, Randall Ray Pancake.

Gordon Harrell Bennett, 69, of Evansville, Indiana died on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. He was born on December 6, 1949 in Munich, Germany to James and Ehren (Foster) Bennett.

Gordon was a beloved husband and father. He enjoyed anything computer related, collecting model cars, and was an avid reader. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974-1994 (Retired). Gordon worked for Computer Sciences Corporation from 1994-2001, the U.S. Census Bureau from 2005-2010, and the Town of Newburgh from 2012-present.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stephen Foster Bennett; sisters-in-law, Linda Keliipaakaua and Theresa Daugherty; and nephew, Craig Moore.

Lilly Fowler VanWinkle, 99, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019. She was born on April 24, 1920, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Elzie & Nora (Cook) Bledsoe.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for over 60 years. Lilly enjoyed bowling, traveling, fishing, and was an enthusiastic basketball fan, of the Evansville Aces and U.K. Wildcats. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Lilly loved life, God, her family and friends and her little dog, Haley.

Lilly was preceded in death by her late husband of 33 years, Willard Fowler; her husband of 22 years, Earl VanWinkle; son, Larry Higdon; sister, Martha Thrasher; and brother, David Bledsoe.

She is survived by her son, Steve Fowler (Susan) of Newburgh, IN; and grandchildren, Stacy Fowler of Henderson, KY and Lesly Fowler of Newburgh, IN; lots of nieces and nephews; stepson, Rip VanWinkle (Peggy) and family; and Sandra Snyder (Darryl) and family.
