Right Jab And Middle Jab And Left Jab†August 6, 2020
The majority of our “IS IT TRUE†columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give our more opinionated readers exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and Middle Jab and RIGHT JAB† column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB†AND “MIDDLE JAB†AND “RIGHT JABâ€Â several times a week.  Oh, “LEFT JAB†is a liberal view, “MIDDLE JAB†is the libertarian view and the “RIGHT JAB is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments in this column is free to do so.

Evansville Police Department (E.P.D.) Called To The 2500 Block Of Wexford Dr Concerning Gun Shots
Evansville Police Department (E.P.D.) was called to the 2500 block of Wexford Dr. The caller heard gunshots
Around 3:20 a.m. this morning, the Evansville Police Department (E.P.D.) was called to the 2500 block of Wexford Dr. The caller heard gunshots outside of the suspected residence. The caller went on to say that a male had shot a female.Â
When officers arrived both the male and female were still at the residence but refused to answer the door to speak with the police. Because it was reported that someone was potentially shot, the officers forced their way into the residence. Once inside officers were able to locate Carolanne Lock (24) and William Garnett (27). Garnett had blood coming from his leg.Â
Witnesses told officers that Garnett had been pushing Lock and pointed a handgun at her. Lock pulled her own handgun out and shot him in the lower leg. Both Garnett and Lock’s firearms were recovered by E.P.D.’s Crime Scene Unit.Â
After receiving treatment for a gunshot wound at the hospital, Garnett was transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail and charged with intimidation.
Lock was also arrested and charged with domestic violence battery.Â
