“Right Jab And Middle Jab And Left Jab” was created because we have a couple of commenters that post on a daily basis either in our “IS IT TRUE” or “Readers Forum” columns concerning National or International issues.
The majority of our “IS IT TRUE” columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give our more opinionated readers exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and Middle Jab and RIGHT JAB”  column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB” AND “MIDDLE JAB” AND “RIGHT JAB” several times a week.  Oh, “LEFT JAB” is a liberal view, “MIDDLE JAB” is the libertarian view and the “RIGHT JAB is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments in this column is free to do so.

Serious Bodily Injury Motor Vehicle Accident/ Lynch Rd. at I69.

   Around 6:00 a.m. this morning, the Evansville Police Department (E.P.D.) was called to the intersection of Interstate 69 and Lynch Rd. for a Serious Bodily Injury Motor Vehicle Accident. 

  An E.P.D. Accident Reconstructionist was called to the scene and determined that a passenger car heading eastbound on Lynch Rd. turned into the path of an S.U.V. traveling westbound on Lynch at I69. 

 There were two occupants in the passenger car that were taken to the hospital. The sole occupant of the S.U.V. was transported to the hospital as well. The driver of the passenger car had minimal injuries. The passenger of the vehicle sustained more substantial injuries and is listed in critical condition.

 The driver of the S.U.V. was released from the hospital.

EVPL East closed for construction

Construction continues at EVPL East. Work has begun on an extensive water remediation project that will ensure our community’s use of the historic location in the future.
During this time, no library services will be available at EVPL East. Location library users are encouraged to utilize in-person services and EVPL To Go, as well as return materials, to other EVPL locations during this period.
