Evansville Police arrested three juveniles for Attempted Burglary and Resisting Law Enforcement after responding to a 911 call early this morning.
Police were called to 208 Adams at 12:30 this morning after one of the occupants heard glass breaking in the kitchen. When officers arrived, two females tried to run from the back of the home. Both were caught by officers who were in the front of the house. A male suspect also ran and was caught after a foot chase.
The two females were both in possession of replica handguns that fired pellets. The girls told investigators they had intended to break in and “scare the residentâ€. The 67 year old caller told investigators she was in the home with her 82 year old mother and that she heard the glass on the door getting broken out.
Officer arrived before the suspects were able to get into the home. The suspects were placed at the Youth Care Center.
