“Night Market” Presented by Deaconess scheduled for Friday, June 14

 ANNOUNCEMENT – June 12 2024: The Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District (EID) is hosting the Night Market Presented by Deaconess on Friday, June 14 from 5 PM – 8 PM.

The event will feature 20+ local makers on the 900 Block of Main Street. Discover handmade goods, curated vintage, local producers and treats from a diverse range of vendors and businesses. Activities will include live music from D.R. Bridges and a colorful fringe backdrop for photo memories near Main Street Food and Beverage at 900 Main Street.

series started in 2023 as an opportunity to support local makers and vendors outside of the traditional market hours. The market serves as the perfect place to unwind after work, connect with the community, and shop and dine Downtown,” said Adam Trinkel, executive director, of EID. Admission is free. Downtown stores and restaurants will be open for customers. The 900 block is home to multiple businesses with evening hours, including Main Street Food & Beverage (Bowlify Superfoods, La Campirana, Mikey’s Caribbean Restaurant, NOMOD, Rava’s), La Mexicana Restaurant, and Someplace Else Night Club, which will celebrate its 34th anniversary this year. Food trucks FireChicken, Bruce Li, and 3 Chicks Fudgery will also serve food. Public restrooms will be accessible for guests on the 900 Block.

Each Night Market highlights a different area of our neighborhood and drives economic development through increased consumer footfall and spending at Downtown businesses. The Night Market series continues Friday, August 9 on Sixth Street (from Sycamore to Locust) and Friday, November 1 on Fourth Street (from Locust to Chestnut).
