Evansville, IN — September 16, 2024 — Hometown Jams and Old National Events Plaza are thrilled to announce Elle King: Baby Daddy’s Weekend Tour will perform at Aiken Theatre on November 17, 2024. Fans can get tickets early during the venue presale starting September 18 by visiting the venue’s social media pages.

The multi-platinum, award-winning recording artist has amassed nearly 2 billion streams worldwide, including over 275 million for King’s Platinum-certified smash hit “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Miranda Lambert. The award-winning song reached no. 1 on both Billboard’s Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck Charts.

King is the first female artist in history to score No. 1 singles on four different formats including Adult Pop Songs, Adult Alternative Songs, Alternative Songs and Country Airplay charts. Her debut album Love Stufffeatured her breakthrough single “Ex’s & Oh’s,” which earned her two GRAMMY nominations and is certified 4-times Platinum.

King’s 2023 album Come Get Your Wife received rave reviews and a Top 10 on the Billboard Album Sales Chart. Co-producing the album and writing eight of its tracks, the record includes “Drunk,” “Out Yonder,” “Try Jesus,” “Jersey Giant” and her Gold-certified single “Worth A Shot,” featuring Dierks Bentley. This is the second time King and Bentley have teamed up, following their Grammy-nominated, CMA Award-winning, RIAA Platinum-certified No. 1 hit “Different for Girls.”

Her unique blend of music has found her a multi-genre fanbase, and she tours with multi-genre artists like Jelly Roll, Tyler Childers, Dierks Bentley, Melissa Etheridge and The Chicks.

Her new song “Baby Daddy’s Weekend” sets the tone for her return. Never one to shy away from a party, or start one, King doubles down and brings all the sass and swagger she’s known for. Written by King and Pillbox Patti (Nicolette Hayford), with lines like “turn it up raise a cup, you think you feel but, it ain’t even hit yet,” you know you’re in for a good time.
