Earlier today, Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter transferred Master Trooper Ryan Wilson to Field Investigations to serve as a detective at the Evansville Post.
Wilson is a native of Boonville and a 1990 graduate of Boonville High School. He later attended Murray State where he received a degree in Criminal Justice. Wilson was employed as a Warrick County Sheriff’s Deputy from January 1995 to April 1999 before joining the Indiana State Police. He graduated from the Indiana State Police Academy in June 2000 and was assigned to the Terre Haute District. Wilson transferred to Evansville in October 2001 where he primarily patrolled Warrick County until his recent reassignment to Field Investigations. Wilson will primarily investigate crimes in Warrick and Vanderburgh Counties.
