March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (DDAM), a time when we join with our partners to educate the public about developmental disabilities and highlight the many ways people with and without disabilities come together to form strong, diverse communities.
Throughout this month, we will be using each issue of From Jake’s Desk to highlight various state programs and initiatives designed to serve individuals and families affected by developmental disabilities. From ABLE savings programs to housing projects tailored for those with IDD, we are dedicated to helping Hoosiers find the opportunity to live in safe, affordable, quality housing.
