On May 11th, 2024, at 7:03 p.m. the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office was notified of a death that occurred at 6:58 p.m. at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. The deceased was identified as Christopher Samples 51 of Evansville who died from a stab wound while at the Esquire Inn 1817 N. Fares Ave. Evansville Indiana, 47711. More information will be released by the Evansville Police Department after they complete their investigation.
