Rep. Luke Messer issued the following statement today after the Senate Budget Committee Passed the President’s tax cut bill.
“There is momentum to deliver on President Trump’s campaign promise to give American workers a pay raise,â€Â Messer said. “Now, the full Senate needs to act. Hardworking Hoosiers deserve a tax cut, and Indiana’s Senator Joe Donnelly needs to deliver. This is the Senate’s chance to prove to the American people that it can get something done.â€
Senator Joe Donnelly has still refused to say whether or not he will support the President’s tax cut pan.
Messer voted to pass the House version of the plan earlier this month.
