The Division of Aging is pleased to announce that Liberty of Indiana will begin supporting the division with incident management on Feb. 1, 2023, as a next step in ongoing improvements in quality assurance/management. Liberty of Indiana has over 30 years of experience providing services and programs to aging individuals and adults with disabilities and a proven record of designing, implementing, and operating statewide quality oversight initiatives using person-centered best practices.
Liberty has been providing continuous services to Indiana since 1993, including 20 years with the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services and is the current statewide quality vendor for the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services’ home and community-based services waivers.
The incident management system will remain the same. Liberty will conduct incident management review using DART and providers will receive emails initiated by Liberty for any actions requiring follow-up. There will be no immediate change to the current process utilized except the personnel sending emails regarding incidents.
