Lemonade Stand Gathering Planned as Part of Suicide Prevention Month
Evansville, IN – As a part of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, the Ivy Tech Community College Wellness Center, Counseling Services, and What Matters Most Evansville, will host a gathering to focus on connecting, sharing, and healing. The public is invited to attend and enjoy some lemonade and share their grief story.
It will take place Tuesday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., outside Entrance C, at Ivy Tech Community College Evansville, 3501 N. First Avenue (Entrance is on the Colonial Avenue side of the building). The rain date will be Sept. 21.
The event’s goals are to help build resilience in individuals by focusing on healing from difficult experiences by sharing with others.
