“LEFT JAB AND RIGHT JAB”

“Right Jab And Left Jab” was created because we have two commenters that post on a daily basis either in our “IS IT TRUE” or “Readers Forum” columns concerning National or International issues.
Joe Biden and Ronald Reagan’s comments are mostly about issues of national interest.  The majority of our “IS IT TRUE” columns are about local or state issues, so we have decided to give Mr. Biden and Mr. Reagan exclusive access to our newly created “LEFT JAB and RIGHT JAB”  column. They now have this post to exclusively discuss national or world issues that they feel passionate about.
We shall be posting the “LEFT JAB” AND “RIGHT JAB” several times a week.  Oh, “Left Jab” is a liberal view and the “Right Jab is representative of the more conservative views. Also, any reader who would like to react to the written comments of the two gentlemen is free to do so.

      When Hillary Clinton posted legal advice Thursday to illegal aliens on how to avoid capture, it was a perfect example of why the U.S. Border Patrol endorsed Donald Trump for president.

      For a woman who once competed for the honor of swearing to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution,” her latest action was a slap in the face to the law itself.

      And the leader of the Border Patrol union was infuriated.

      “I’m amazed that somebody that ran for president of the United States — that was willing to promise to uphold the laws of the United States, the Constitution of the United States — is now actively helping people avoid justice,” Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told “Fox & Friends” on Friday….

      “These people have already been ordered deported. They’ve already exhausted all of their appeals processes through the court system. They’re not supposed to be here. They’re illegally here, and she’s now helping them to continue to break the law,” he said.

    About 50 miles of brand new wall has been completed by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) along the United States’ southwest border, with more expected to be constructed, according to acting Commissioner Mark Morgan.

    The media has ignored President Donald Trump’s latest executive order that will likely save the lives of up to 43,000 people who are waiting for organ transplants.

    One of the worst parts of the process for patients awaiting life-saving kidney transplants is the donor list that sometimes forces them to wait years before being awarded a suitable kidney. Many of these patients die waiting because they don’t have two and three years of life left to be spent waiting on a transplant list.

    But President Trump has quietly signed a new executive order that will begin to help solve some of these issues, according to Johns Hopkins University economist Steve Hanke….

    As the President noted, roughly 100,000 Americans with kidney disease are awaiting a transplant from a donor. About 20,000 Americans are awaiting transplants of other organs.

    These estimates are, if anything, on the low side. Indeed, there are many people who never bother with the transplant waiting list because, under the current system, their prospects of receiving a transplant are so low. Last year, there were about 21,000 kidney transplants in the United States, but the transplant waiting list has remained stuck in the 90,000 to 100,000 person range for some years. If you are old, or even a young person in frail health, you won’t receive a kidney. Donor kidneys are reserved for more “deserving” recipients. Shockingly, it’s estimated that 43,000 Americans die prematurely each year because they don’t receive a life-saving kidney transplant. For context, this exceeds the number of people who die in car accidents each year.

  7. ICE releases report of illegal immigrants who allegedly committed crimes after cops ignored detention requests

    …The first of what will be quarterly “Declined Detainer Reports” details incidents from the second quarter of fiscal year 2018, where law enforcement agencies arrested undocumented immigrants, ignored ICE requests to hold them until federal authorities could pick them up, and then those individuals were arrested on new charges. The report features highlighted cases, including ones where the arrests were for rape, murder, assault, burglary, car theft, drug possession, and DUI….

    In one such case, ICE says an illegal immigrant had been arrested and released 10 times by San Francisco police between February 2018 and January 2019, despite ICE issuing detainers. Each of those arrests included charges related to either burglary or a stolen vehicle…

    To The Surprise Of Nobody, Dems Internal Polling Shows Swing Voters Don’t Like Progressives

    Yikes. Internal polling shows that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Ilhan Omar, two newly elected notable ideological progressives in Congress, are driving the media cycle and image of the Democratic Party. This is bad news for Dems because, as reported by Axios, most swing voters do not approve of Rep. Ocasio-Cortez nor Rep. Omar. Likewise, these same voters also have a mostly negative view of the socialism the left wants in America. These voters do, however, favor capitalism, which has been vilified by members of Congress and Democratic 2020 candidates alike.

    According to Axios, the poll was “taken in May, before Speaker Pelosi’s latest run-in with AOC and the three other liberal House freshmen known as “The Squad” — included 1,003 likely general-election voters who are white and have two years or less of college education.”

    • The results of the poll showed that “Rep. Ocasio-Cortez was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll; 22% had a favorable view.” Likewise, “Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — another member of The Squad — was recognized by 53% of the voters; 9% (not a typo) had a favorable view.”

      Plus, “Socialism was viewed favorably by 18% of the voters and unfavorably by 69%.”

      The bigger point of all this is if AOC continues to be the focus of the media, then Republicans mgiht have a chance to take back the House. Axios’ sources lamented that “socialism was toxic to the people” and that “If all voters hear about is AOC, it could put the [House] majority at risk.”

    Democratic Governor Blames Trump For Leftist Who Firebombed ICE Facility

    Yes, really.

    The Democratic Governor of Washington State believes there is one person to blame for an incident in which a far-left activist tried to firebomb an ICE facility; President Trump.

    Governor Jay Inslee was responding to the attack, during which 69-year-old Willem Van Spronsen, who was armed with a rifle, was shot dead after throwing Molotov cocktails at the building and nearby cars.

    Van Spronsen was an Antifa activist and reportedly wrote a manifesto explaining the motives behind the attack.

    However, according to presidential candidate Inslee, President Trump is to blame….

    He also tried to deliberately mislead people about the nature of the attack by claiming it is unknown whether Van Spronsen was targeting detainees or staff, when it was established almost immediately that the incident was an anti-ICE attack.

    “We don’t know the motivation,” Inslee told CNN Saturday. “I’m going to keep an open mind about this as the investigation proceeds and I hope that calm can be the order of the day.”

    Inslee again suggested that Trump was to blame for the attack for creating “anxiety” in the community….

      Armed Man Who Firebombed ICE Facility Wrote Antifa Manifesto

      The armed man who was killed after trying to firebomb an ICE facility in Washington state wrote an Antifa manifesto explaining his motives.

      Willem Van Spronsen, who was carrying a rifle, was shot dead after he threw Molotov cocktails at the building and nearby cars on Saturday morning.

      “He was throwing these items at the building in an effort to set it on fire. It didn’t work, it’s a concrete building,”said Officer Loretta Cool with the Tacoma Police Department.

      According to his friend Deb Bartley, Van Spronsen was a member of Antifa and his attack on the facility was intended to provoke a fatal conflict.

      The Seattle Times reports that Van Spronsen also wrote a “manifesto” which Bartley refused to discuss but said would be confiscated by authorities….

      Rercords show that Van Spronsen was previously arrested for assaulting a police officer.

      Unbelievably, some left-wing activists blamed ICE for the deadly confrontation despite the fact that it was initiated by Van Spronsen.

      “We were really saddened that somebody died,” said activist Maru Mora Villalpando with La Resistencia. “I think what is clear is that somebody died right outside the detention center. The detention center is a dangerous place.”….
