Kate Petrova named MVC Women’s Golfer of the Week
Petrova was medalist at ASU Spring Classic
Kate Petrova has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week in an announcement by the league on Thursday morning.
Petrova was medalist at the ASU Spring Classic at Arrowhead Country Club in Alabama on Monday. Finishing with scores of 71 and 76, Petrova bested the field by five strokes to take the individual championship.
Her efforts highlighted a strong tournament by the Purple Aces that saw them take the team championship. UE defeated the field by 16 strokes over the course of 36 holes at the event.
