He has served as a trustee of the University of Evansville and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, for which he has run fifteen marathons, raising over $100,000 for cancer research. In 2015, the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce awarded CVEP and Wallace the Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy of Service Award.
