Ivy Tech Speaker Series to Feature United Way Manager;
Honey Moon Coffee Co. Founder Zac Parsons
Zac Parsons, the United Way Talent 2025 project manager and Founder of Honey Moon Coffee Co. will be the guest speaker in Ivy Tech Community College’s 2021 School of Business Speaker Series event on Tuesday, Sept. 28. This presentation in the annual series sponsored by Banterra Bank will be at 6 p.m. in Vectren Auditorium on Ivy Tech’s campus at 3501 N. First Avenue in Evansville.
It is free and open to the public.
Parsons made Evansville his home in 2009, after coming to the area from Mesa, Arizona. He currently is the United Way’s project manager for the Talent 2025 initiative, collaborating with local non-profit organizations dedicated to reducing poverty in our community.
Parsons and his wife, Jessica, co-founded the Honey Moon Coffee Co. in 2016 with two locations in Evansville;Â and has served as the licensee for TEDxEvansville helping to oversee the production of the event from 2015-2019.
He served as an adjunct faculty member at UE and USI teaching social entrepreneurship and also has taught psychology, world religions, literature, and geography at Evansville Day School. He holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Grand Canyon University.
